The WMSD Students Page!

“We Made San Diego” is important to me because it tells the story of our history. I also like the fact that my family is in the book. It is fun to learn about all the things that have happened to these past generations. I am so proud of my family and all they have accomplished. It’s also super cool that I know the author, Maria Garcia.

I love reading this book with my grandmother, Gloria Flores. There is also a story of my grandmother in the book. The book has a lot of history of our community and I really liked looking at all the old pictures.
